Hey,everyone! I know it has been ages since my last blog post :D. I kinda forgot to update my blogspot ^^. Will try to correct this in the future with more art :). For the new year, new artwork! Phew, it took me some months to finalize it. Good thing to have some time for rest during the holidays :3. Anyway this piece is inspired by the works of H.P.Lovecraft who i absolutely love. His books are great source of inspiration :). ... I am not a machine... I am a human...  At last! After like 3 months or so of struggles and stealing from what's left from my free time i finally managed to finish this artwork. It is inspired by the brilliant speech by Charlie Chaplin at the end of his movie "The great dictator" and particularly this part: "Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural men - machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts!" So the idea of the person trying to break free from the machine parts came to my mind instantly. For 3D print you will need the .STL file! https://www.3dhubs.com 3D Hubs is the best website to request 3D print services and find the nearest 3D printing studio in your area. I can't provide the 3D printing myself, so check this website out! :) I will be starting a new set of models, this time from the games Guild Wars 1 and 2. Stay tuned! Hey, everyone! I was kinda absent from here for the past few months ^^. Fighting with artblock is a tough thing. A few months back I started a personal project to create 3D printed charms of the clan symbols from the game Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. Nothing special, just  some 3D printed earrings I can wear at work or outside. But then a lot of people from the LoK fanbase actually liked my project and started asking me how and where can they purchase the models. They even gave me further ideas to model the pillars symbols, glyph magic symbols and elemental reaver powers. Little by little, model after model i finally finished this long project. It consists of 4 sets with 28 pieces in total. I am going to present to you all the models, ready for 3D printing. Just figured out that i haven't been updating this blog and all other blogs lately, so here we go. :) I am recently caught up with Arthur Clarke's books and this artwork is inspired by his book "Rendezvous with Rama". The spiral staircase segments in the book caught my attention (and because i already had "rendezvous" with Junji ito's Uzumaki (Spiral), xD) and decided to try something different and crazy with spiral staircases disappearing into the void of the universe ^^. 3D Printed glyph magic earrings/necklaces from Soul Reaver 1 100% completed! Feast on your eyes! :D What remains for me is to run test prints and check if everything is okay with the models :3. I still need to refine the clan symbols tho, think about doing the elemental powers from Defiance aaand eventually the pillars symbols :D. A lot of work ahead! Stay tuned!
