New entries at last!

Hello, guys! Long time no post,  but i was extremely busy (again) and didn't have time (again) to update my little blog. I haven't done anything new for the past 2 months, so I'm uploading a bit old works from my dA gallery ^^.

Title : Where angels are being born...

I just had to try this one :). I want to use my graphic tablet to its full potential. If you know some tutorials about overpainting or something like that, feel free to share them :) I would love to learn new stuff ^^

Title: A gaze full with desire...

A feeling so strong and unconventional
A heart beating so fast, so loud.

Staring at each other, just staring, no action...

This artwork is inspired by a little fragment from a poem written by a friend of mine. She is writing a book with poems right now and I will be making the illustrations. This one is just the firs of many to come :D.  The initial idea was very different, but I couldn't find suitable stock, so I ended up with this one and my friend really liked it :).
Also i wanted to try a photomanip with a frame, since everybody's doing them xD. My next photomanip will have a frame as well hahah :D.

And that is all for now :).

Expect more stuff in the future :D

Not Machine

... I am not a machine... I am a human...  At last! After like 3 months or so of struggles and stealing from what's left from my free time i finally managed to finish this artwork. It is inspired by the brilliant speech by Charlie Chaplin at the end of his movie "The great dictator" and particularly this part: "Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural men - machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts!" So the idea of the person trying to break free from the machine parts came to my mind instantly. I hope that you will like it!  Credits: https://silviet-stock.deviantart.com/art/Me-fake-blood-strange-pose-10-252626534 https://amka-stock.deviantart.com/art/stock-stormy-sky-credit-and-show-the-result-436785403 https://araken-starway.deviantart.com/art/Iron-Scrap-stock-52726083 https://thecaprice.deviantart.com/art/stockpile-14-93455971 ...

Vili's bizarre 3D printing adventures, part 2 -The Robo-cat

Hello, dear readers! Welcome to another episode of Vili's bizarre 3D printing adventures! Today I am going to tell you the story of one 3D printed Robo-cat!  It was the award of a challenge me and the other students accepted as part of the 3Ds Max course at CGZEN . Whoever creates the best looking cat will receive a 3D printed model of it. Strangely enough I was given the honor to print the kitty! The lucky winner was Stanislava Zahova and this is her Robo-cat: Robo-cat by Stanislava Zahova Isn't it just cute? :3 Model analysis We can divide the parts in two groups - with and without supports. The head, tail and legs clearly need to be supported, while the paws, neck, body, torso and back won't need any supports at all. In terms of resolution this model can use the faster settings since there aren't much details on it. The cat needed to be scaled just a little bit, not like the previous model we discussed here . The final size was around 12-13 cm high. ...

Vili's bizarre 3D printing adventures, part 9 - The lizard warrior

Hello, everyone! I am back with the 100th anniversary post since the beginning of this blog back in 2013! Can't believe seven years passed just like that! The end of  Vili's bizarre 3D printing adventures is slowly moving towards it's end, but don't worry I will continue to write about my personal projects and what I stumbled upon while working on them. The topic of today's journal entry is about one very skilled lizard desert warrior created by Katrin Staneva for the  Character design course at CGZEN . Lizard desert warior by Katrin Staneva He is ready for battle! Better watch out! Model analysis This is not a very easy model to be honest. It is separated into eleven parts in total. There are a lot of details almost everywhere (except for the shoes) and also some of the pieces are small. The model imported into 3Ds Max The object was scaled in 3Ds Max up to 5200% which in Cura resulted as 14 cm height. It is within the limit described in the ...
